Future Mining Forum&Expo

uture Mining Forum&Expo is a new international industry event dedicated to the future of the mining, resources and industrial sectors, taking place on 9–11 September 2026 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland.

Developed by the PTWP Group, the project is built on the foundation of more than 40 years of mining trade fair tradition. It preserves the scale and significance of the event while introducing a new, modern format that responds to the challenges of sector transformation, the growing importance of critical raw materials and the dynamic development of technologies.

Future Mining Forum&Expo brings together three key components:

an extensive exhibition area for companies from the mining, metallurgy, energy and industrial sectors,
technology and innovation zones focused on automation, robotics, AI, clean technologies and mining tech,
a multi-track conference programme featuring debates with experts, industry leaders, public administration representatives and the academic community.
The event agenda covers topics such as critical raw materials, Europe’s raw materials security, transformation of mining regions, automation of extraction processes, new industrial technologies, resource geopolitics, as well as the future of energy and metallurgy.

Future Mining Forum&Expo is not only a trade fair, but also a platform for dialogue and cooperation, aimed at integrating industry communities and jointly seeking answers to the key challenges facing the mining and resources sector in Poland and across Europe.
