The two-day PRECOP conference is a recurring event organized by the PTWP Group and the UN Global Compact Network Poland, whose agenda will feature the most important topics related to reducing CO2 emissions, climate policy in Poland and Europe, halting global warming, and mitigating the already visible and ever-increasing effects of the climate crisis.

Business PRECOP – Times That Call for a New Approach
This year’s edition of the event will be different. The conference’s new name reflects its nature and its clear roots in the business and economic perspective, as well as its broad view of environmental challenges that today extend beyond climate change itself.

Business PRECOP—we invite you to this edition, which prepares participants for upcoming global environmental negotiations, particularly the UN Climate Summit COP31—will take place September 30–October 1 at the International Congress Center in Katowice.

The focus will be on climate-related issues: pollution, the circular economy, biodiversity loss, and the energy transition—all of which feature on the agenda every year. They all share a common thread: they affect the state of the environment, our well-being, and the stability and resilience of economies and business models.

Business PRECOP is a meeting place for those seeking solutions within the complex context of business, science, government, and international organizations—people united by a shared perspective: concern for the future of the planet and its people, as well as long-term competitiveness and economic well-being.

This is not a change in direction, but rather a clarification of what Business PRECOP has been from the very beginning: a forum for discussing the real challenges of transformation and practical courses of action.
