ART COLLECT | Contemporary Art Fair

ART COLLECT is a collector's art fair at the International Congress Centre – a space for meetings, inspiration and exchange of ideas, where the latest trends in contemporary art intertwine with the passion of collecting. A select group of artists and galleries will present their original visions, current trends and works that define the contemporary language of art.

The ART COLLECT project was born out of the need to show the wide spectrum of artistic attitudes present in Polish contemporary art – from formal explorations to socially engaged statements. The works presented in as many as 25 micro-exhibitions cover a variety of media: from painting and sculpture, through artistic textiles, to objects and experimental forms. It is a review of individual narratives that together create a map of the most interesting phenomena on the domestic art scene, as well as an opportunity to meet artists in person and talk openly about their work.

ART COLLECT is also a carefully planned place for the exchange of knowledge and experience. The ART-TALKS programme will feature talks, panels and discussions on contemporary art and collecting – from the first purchase to building a conscious collection. In the ART-ROOMS space, the public will discover 25 pop-up exhibitions, and in the ART-CHILL zone, they will find a space for reflection, meetings and inspiring conversations with artists.
