The International Congress Centre and Spodek Sport and Show Arena are often used for large sport events. When Spodek takes the lead as an arena for world championships and other first-rate sports events, the ICC serves as a complimentary facility for meetings, trainings, and even additional competitions.

 During the WTA Katowice Open, additional courts were built in the International Congress Centre. Furthermore, the ICC can accommodate VIP and fan zones.

And if that's not enough, the International Congress Centre can also serve as an independent arena for competitions and sport events. With a surface area of 8,000 square meters, the multi-purpose hall can be adapted to all kinds of sports activities.
