Silesia Beer Fest is a craft beer festival held in Katowice since 2015. The event brings together Polish craft breweries and Katowice multitaps. The first edition was held in the former Giesche porcelain factory on 2-4 October 2015, but the festival grew so quickly that it soon had to be moved, first to the Wilson Shaft Gallery, and then to its final venue at the heart of the Culture Zone in Katowice: the Spodek Arena.
Silesia Beer Fest is a project open to a broad audience, where Polish craft breweries can present their beers, and includes side events such as workshops, presentations and discussion panels devoted to brewing, brewers and their work and achievements, as well as the history of beer.
The 11th Silesia Beer Fest will be held on 19-20 April 2024.
